Market StreetLlandudno Tel:01492 870762 The Cottage Loaf was opened as a pub in September 1981 on the site of an historic bakery named Dunphy's. Bread was baked, coffeebeans roasted and drinks bottled. A Shipwreck was instrumental in providing a mast and ribs for use in the building as it is today. These can be seen holding up the bar ceiling and above the windows as lintels. The vessel was called the Flying Foam and ran aground during a storm in 1936 with its load of coal. The Captain,a large figure, although he survived that incident has been seen after his death in a ghostly form by a number of sober people in the bar area. A full range of beers, lagers and traditional ales are available along with a good variety of Pub meals served throughout the day. Either within our comfortable unique interior or sitting beside our Garden Sun Terrace you can let the world go by.
