We have just found out that the Cottage Loaf will feature in the Good Beer Guide 2012 for our excellent choice and quality of cask ales. We are most proud of this news as we take a lot of time and pride in the up keep of our ales.
Come along and try one (or two!) of our ales for yourself. A member of our bar staff will be only too happy to run you through the beers that we have on at the moment. We try to feature ales from local breweries along with a number of guest ales to keep our customers on their toes!
And for those of you who don’t like cask ales, don’t worry…we have a great selection of fine lagers along with a delicious choice of world wines and various soft drinks to cleanse the palate.

It was great to find out that we have been awarded the CAMRA “Summer Pub of the Season”. We are very proud to receive this award and to have all of our hard work and dedication recognised. Thank you CAMRA.
What a great weekend!! Thank you to everyone involved. We had such a good weekend and it was so great to see so many friendly faces, some new and some old, coming along to be part of our Annual Beer Festival.
We would also like to thank all of the bands and artists who were invovled and played some great LIVE music over the weekend.
Definitely another successful beer festival!! …here’s to 2012!
It’s finally here…our annual beer festival! Always a great time to be had at The Loaf when the beer festival is on. With lots of LIVE music, great beer, delicious food from the hog roast and bbq…what more could you ask for?! Well, hopefully some sunshine! Fingers crossed!

Can’t believe that August is nearly here already! But that does mean that it is one of our favourite weekends of the year….our annual Beer Festival (6th and 7th August 2011). With ales and ciders from near and far, there will be a delicious and eclectic choice of ales on offer!
Also… LIVE Music all weekend and also our traditional HOG ROAST and BBQ.
