Join us over the Extravaganza bank holiday weekend!

The May bank holiday is here and if the weatherman is to be believed then we are in for a sunny one!  Just perfect for the Llandudno Extravaganza that is taking place throughout the weekend in Llandudno town centre.  Enjoy Victorian street fairs, old time fair rides, steam engines, people dressing up in Victorian costume, street parades at 12pm each day, street entertainers and much more…there is endless entertainment for all of the family.

After a enjoyable day at the extravaganza then come and visit us at the Loaf, we are tucked just down Market Street off Mostyn Street (the main street)…a lovely country pub nestled right in the heart of Llandudno.  Sit back and relax on our sun terrace and enjoy a nice refreshing drink and a delicious bit to eat from our homemade menu.

Get out and about in Llandudno this bank holiday weekend (4th, 5th and 6th of May) and come and see the Llandudno Victorian Extravaganza. With a Victorian street fair, old time fair rides, steam engines, people dressing up in Victorian costume, street parades at 12pm each day, street entertainers and much more then there is endless entertainment for all of the family.

And after you have been to see the extravaganza then why not stop into the Loaf for a bite to eat or a refreshing drink?  We will be serving food until 9pm all weekend so be it a late lunch, an early dinner or even a late dinner, our homemade hearty menu will be able to accommodate all appetites!

What a great first week back open….thanks for all the lovely feedback!

It’s been so nice to see so many friendly faces through our doors over the past week and even nicer that they have all had such grea things to say about the changes we have made to the pub.  The new kitchen is making a huge difference and the new menu seems to be going down a treat!

Funnily enough the favourite tables seem to be the ones right next to fire at the moment!!  This time last year, you could sit outside and enjoy your lunch never mind huddle around an open fire!  Oh well, we are sure the sunshine is on its way….we just wish it would hurry up!!!

Happy New Year from all of the team at the Loaf!

We would like to wish you a very Happy 2013!  We have had such a lovely Christmas and New Year in the pub.  It has been so nice to see so many familiar faces joining us for drinks and a bite to eat!

Let’s hope that 2013 brings us all a good year!…..hopefully with more sunshine and less rain!!

Loaf receives “Llandudno in Bloom” Award…

It is fantastic to receive the ‘Llandudno in Bloom’ award as a recognition for our hard work that goes into maintaining our flowers and plants at the pub.  You’ll know that Loaf is always brimming with flowers and plants during the summer months, it give is a bright and welcoming feel that we love to maintain and cherish.

We are just so proud this year that all of our hard work has been recognised and has been awarded this great honour.  It does mean we have to keep it up now, so “watering cans at the ready!”.

LIVE music this Saturday (11th Aug) at the Loaf…

Come and enjoy some great LIVE music this Saturday night with a fantastic irish band “The Ryan’s Irish Band”, we have had them play in the pub before and they were excellent.  They really are one to catch and come and get involved with on Saturday.  And fingers crossed the weatherman promises a good weekend so it should be a good one all round.

We love the atmosphere in the pub when there is a good band playing especially these guys…they could lift any atmopshere!!

Come rain or shine, we’re always smiling at the loaf!  Don’t let the weather get you down….come and enjoy a hearty lunch this weekend at the Loaf and if by British miracle the sun decides to come out then even better! We have our sun terrace out the front and huge beer garden at the rear to the pub which is the perfect sun trap.

With a 4 day bank holiday approaching, it always fills us with excitement!  Our fingers are crossed for some more amazing sunshine but no matter what the weather brings, we will always be smiling at the Loaf!

Come and join us this weekend for a refreshing drink or why not come and try our delicious homemade menu for a spot of lunch or a lovely evening meal.  We also will be serving our famous roast dinner on Easter Sunday so don’t miss out!

We cant wait for the Easter celebrations to begin! Oh and of course the chocolate!!

Summer sun in Llandudno!

It has been so lovely to see some sunshine in Llandudno over the past week…..is this a sign of things to come?  We can only wish!!!  When the sun is warm and shining, there is no where better to visit than the coast…with a lovely walk along the Prom and then a delicious spot of lunch and a refreshing drink at the Loaf!  Come and join us!
